August To Do List – 52 Lists

I am a bit of a sucker for “to do” lists. I make them all the time although I don’t always follow through. Oops, oh well. Either way, I decided to jump on the 52 Lists train again this week with the August To Do List.

I love the way it was broken up at Chasing Slow into three categories: have to do, want to do, and get to do. This organization was something I really enjoyed and wanted to use in my own list (thank you for the idea!). I feel like there’s so many in each category that lumping them all together really doesn’t do any justice to my “to-do’s”.

  1. Great list and I’m so glad that you were inspired by the to do list headings. I have found that when I give myself the “want” and “get to” lists that it helps me get the dreaded “have to” done. Oh, and I avoided the exercise on my “have to”, but I really should have it on there, too.

    Thanks for sharing!

    1. You’re welcome. And it was very hard for me to put the exercise on that portion but I thought it would make me more likely to do it.

  2. I think it’s awesome that you have “read Baby-sitters Club books” on your list. I loved those when I was a kid! How fun that you’re still (or again) reading them! 🙂

    1. I read a few of them as a kid and loved the TV show and movie that came of it. I didn’t intend to read them now but I started finding them for crazy good prices at thrift stores and decided to collect them again. Might as well give them a read, they are nice and quick now!
