Meal Plan Friday – 8/12/2016

Happy Friday. And here’s another Meal Plan Friday. This week we’re focused on simple meals that maximize using the same proteins for multiple meals. This greatly cuts down on costs and allows me to buy more of the other stuff that fills out meals and snacks for the two guys in my life who like graze all day long. (Silly boys!)

My little guy is getting very… choosy? Yes, choosy is the word I’m looking for. He’s getting very choosy with what he is willing to eat and it makes things a little harder to plan. I want to offer him at least one thing I think he’ll eat and other foods that I hope he’ll at least try.

Meal Plan Friday: 8/12/2016


  • Sunday:
    • Breakfast = Bacon and Eggs
    • Lunch = Burgers and Coleslaw
    • Dinner = Salad with Grilled Chicken
  • Monday:
    • Breakfast = Yogurt, Fruit, Cereal
    • Lunch = Mac n Cheese, Hot Dogs, Apple Slices and Carrot Sticks
    • Dinner = Pasta with Meat and Veggie Sauce
  • Tuesday:
    • Breakfast = Sausage and Eggs
    • Lunch = Sandwiches and Chips
    • Dinner = Tacos
  • Wednesday:
  • Thursday:
    • Breakfast = Pancakes
    • Lunch = Chicken Nuggets and Salad
    • Dinner = Kung Pao Chicken
  • Friday:
    • Breakfast = Omelets
    • Lunch = Burgers and Zucchini Tots
    • Dinner = Salad with Grilled Chicken
  • Saturday:
    • Breakfast = Sausage and Eggs
    • Lunch = Leftovers
    • Dinner = BBQ Chicken and Green Beans with Carrots
